Venezuelan pop band Famasloop needed to extend their Latin American production to New York — maintaining visual continuity while executing complex practical VFX that drove the music video’s commentary on social media addiction.
I served as Cinematographer and VFX Consultant for the New York unit, collaborating closely with the production team in Venezuela to ensure seamless visual cohesion across two continents. The challenge: match their established aesthetic while designing and executing in-camera effects and compositing setups that advanced the story without breaking the video’s rhythm.
This project required cross-border collaboration, creative problem-solving, and a deep understanding of how cinematography and VFX can work together in-camera to tell a unified story.
The result: “Caníbal” launched to over 100K+ views on YouTube — proof that international coordination and technical precision can scale creative ambition across borders.
